This Privacy Policy describes how **FamSpark** (the "App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.
## 1. Who we are

## 2. What information the App collects
### 2.1 Account information
* **Email address:** used for authentication via email one-time password (OTP). Your email address is stored securely in Firebase Authentication and is used solely for sign-in and account management.
### 2.2 Content you provide
* **Family member profiles:** names, roles, ages/birthdays, interests, and optional bio text you enter for each family member.
* **Home location:** city, state, and ZIP code you optionally provide to enable location-relevant activity suggestions. Full street address is stored only on your account and is never shared.
* **Activity history:** activities you mark as completed or saved within the App.
* **Family goals:** the activity goal frequency you set (e.g., once a week).
### 2.3 Automatically collected information
* **Firebase Analytics:** anonymous usage events (e.g., app open, screen views) to help us understand how the App is used. No personally identifiable information is included.
* **Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM):** a device token is stored to enable push notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
* **Crash reports:** the App may collect crash and error logs via Firebase to help us fix bugs.
### 2.4 Device permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
* **Internet access:** required for authentication, data sync, and activity suggestions.
* **Location (GPS):** optionally used to fetch local weather conditions to improve activity suggestions. Location is never stored on our servers and is only used in real-time to retrieve weather data.
* **Push notifications:** to send you activity reminders (optional; you can deny or revoke at any time).
## 3. How the App uses information
The App uses the information described above to:
* Authenticate you securely via email one-time password (OTP).
* Generate AI-powered activity suggestions personalized to your family's ages, interests, and local weather. Suggestions are produced by an AI system and are for informational and entertainment purposes only — parents and guardians are responsible for assessing suitability and safety.
* Personalize activity suggestions based on your family's ages, interests, and location.
* Track your family's activity history and goals.
* Send optional push notification reminders.
* Improve App stability and performance.
## 4. Where your data is stored
* All family profile data, activity history, and goals are stored in **Google Firebase Firestore**, a cloud database, associated with your account.
* Data is retained as long as your account exists.
* You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at simplecleanapp@gmail.com.
## 5. Sharing of information
The App:
* **Does not sell** your personal information.
* **Does not share** your family data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Standard platform components (Google Firebase, Google Play Services, Apple platforms) process limited technical data as part of normal operation, subject to their own privacy policies.
## 6. Data retention and deletion
* Your data is retained in Firebase for as long as your account is active.
* To request deletion of all your data, contact us at **support@simpleclean-ai.com** and we will delete your account and associated Firestore data within 30 days.
## 7. Security
We use Firebase's built-in security rules and authentication to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
## 8. Children's privacy
The App is designed for families but is operated by adults. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Family member profiles for children are entered and managed by a parent or guardian.
## 9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the **Effective date** at the top when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

# Terms of Service

By downloading or using FamSpark (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
## 1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The App is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their family. It is not directed to children under 13.
## 2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Activity suggestions in the App are generated by an AI system and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. FamSpark does not guarantee the safety, suitability, accuracy, or completeness of any suggested activity. **Parents and guardians are solely responsible for assessing whether any activity is appropriate and safe for their family and for supervising children at all times.**
## 3. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
## 4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Simple Clean Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.

* You agree not to misuse the App or use it for any unlawful purpose.
